Frome started brightly and Matt Smith hit the post in the opening minute from a Jon Vance free kick.  Against the run of play the hosts took an 11th minute lead as a corner was headed home by Mark Gallagher at the far post. Vance then headed off his own line before two refereeing decisions in a minute cost the Robins. Ricky Hulbert found himself clean through on goal and was brought down after rounding the keeper but clear penalty appeals were waived away. Moments later Arlesey countered and a push on Josh Ford went unnoticed allowing Kelvin Bossman a simple tap-in. After Mark Francis won a 24th minute corner with a deflected shot Frome got themselves back in the game as Ben Thomson rose and powerfully headed home Vance's set piece. Fromes pressure finally told and on 54 minutes pulled themselves level as good work from Mark Cooper on the left set Thomson free. He played in Francis on the left who pulled it back to his on rushing strike partner at the near post to drill an unstoppable shot home. With 10 minutes left there was a lengthy stoppage with the home keeper knocked out in a fair aerial challenge with Thomson and moments after coming on the substitute keeper had to react quickly as Francis steered a near post shot into his hands. Frome almost had a chance to win it with the last kick of the game as Thomson was played in on goal but the referee blew the full time whistle just as he was about to try and complete his hat-trick. Ben Thomson was awarded the  H&B Tyres “Man of the Match Award”. Prog Sponsor xx
