“The Boys On The Hill”
On the 30th July 2011 Frome Town Football Club release their published history book written by well known author and former
Somerset Standard sports Editor Kerry Miller.
The book charters the Club’s history since its formation in 1904 in the building which is now occupied by the Black Swan Arts next to
the Frome Museum and shows the rise to the heights of winning the Western Premier Division title in the late 1970’s to the disappear
and disappointed of the Club almost being relegated into County League football before the meteoric rise which has catapulted the
Robins into the Southern Premier Division in a remarkable ten years!
The publication brings supporters right up to date to the end of the 2010/11 season with Frome’s brilliant win at Sholing in the Play Off
final and will include news about the Club that supporters may not know and that were certainly never published on websites or in the
written media.
The book was published through AM Print & Copy of Trowbridge.
Former Players & Managers
Frome Town FC are always pleased to welcome back former players and managers to Badgers Hill so make sure you don’t stay a
stranger and come along and make yourself known!
For special events there are sometimes reunions arranged so make sure you keep an eye on the website and the local and regional
press for news.
You can download the document sent to clubs for inclusion in their match day programme by clicking on the
