Somerset & The South West’s Community Club of the Year (2012)
Promotional Match Days
Armed Forces & Civil Services Day
Next Event:
Season 2013/14
Each year as close to November 11 as possible the Club pay tribute to those
who serve our country with such distinction in either the Armed Forces (Air
Force, Army or Navy and their cadet counterparts), the Royal British Legion or
the Civil Services (Ambulance, Fire and Police).
All members of any of the groups shown above will be given free entry to the
given match upon production of their current identification card.
Prior to the game the teams are normally led out by various standard bearers
representing organisations such as the Royal British Legion and the Royal
Naval Association.
During the match there will also be a collection made with anything collected
split between the various organisations present on the day.
Family Day
Next Event:
Season 2013/14
Being an FA Charter Standard Community Club we place a big emphasis on
families and creating a positive atmosphere for parents to enjoy bringing their
children to matches. Each season a game is chosen where we open up the
ground to families with much reduced admission for those who attend matches
and at the same time with the reduced admission we hope to encourage new
families to start watching the Club using this as a taster session.
Typically admission will be set as 50% off standard admission prices. So adults
bringing children to the game will get in for just £5.00 - so for paying the normal
entry price of £10 both parents get in and children are FREE!
Ladies Day
Next Event:
Saturday 20th April 2013 vs Arlesey Town
Over the last few years football has become more and more of an interest to
ladies and Frome Town want to encourage more women to come and watch
non-league football.
The Club has a very successful ladies section that offer football for both girls
and women of all ages and the Ladies Day also is a way that we can show off
the good work the section do in promoting football for women so Frome Town
Ladies are always involved in these days with half time demonstrations
involving the younger age groups and also handing out promotional information
for interested people to sign up.
Entry on ladies day for all females is FREE OF CHARGE!
