facilities The AlderSmith Stadium has been the home of Frome Town Football Club since its formation in 1904 and over the years the ground has seen many changes although in truth, mainly due to finances, its never been kept up to a standard and it has only been in recent years that the ground has been started to be brought up to date. Currently there are three turnstiles allowing spectators into the ground and they are situated on Berkley Road. As you enter the ground through the Turnstile A or B the main stand is on your left which has 152 seats and also several steps of terracing for those who prefer to stand under cover. Further past the main stand is Turnstile C and then you reach the changing room area which is fenced off and spectators are not allowed entry into this part of the ground. Normally straight in front of you when you enter the ground you will see the matchday programme on sale priced at £2.00.  Its a great read and packed with information about the club, views from the manager and Club Secretary, match reports, supporters club news and articles from around the leagues. To the right as you enter the ground is the Frome Scaffolding Stand which has the Club Shop, the matchday office and the Sponsors Lounge.  The shop is stocked with Errea branded goods, replica shirts, scarves, hats, the club history book, badges and snacks/drinks and much more. Next you come to the Supporters Club cabin which was introduced during late 2011 after being donated by the Frome Police force from its Oakfield Road station.  From here supporters club members can purchase hot drinks for reasonable rates, sign up for away travel and take part in the weekly game ‘Three ‘n Easy’. Past the supporters club cabin you come to the refreshment van which is run and you can pick up hot and cold food and drink and is certainly well worth a visit for either a tray of chips, a burger or a Cornish pasty! If you carry on walking around the ground you then come to the Venue & Sports Bar which runs the width of the pitch.  From here you can buy alcoholic drinks and on matchdays there is also a full bar menu and why not watch a game on television while you  wait for the live action to kick off as normally our 13ft screen is in operation or relax on our comfy sofa’s in the Sports Bar.  At the rear of the building you will find spectators toilets and the entrance to the Boardroom. The far side of the ground is currently uncovered and is where you will find the dugouts and a video gantry for when matches are filmed for online highlights. The last side of the ground is the Clink End where the Community Stand is situated which was installed in 2012 and houses 250 seats. Access to this part of the ground is from walking past the dugouts only and a fourth turnstile is planned for this end in the future as well. We hope you enjoy your visit to the AlderSmith Stadium.
