Darren Perrin
Manager
Darren joined Frome Town as Manager back in September 2009 when the Robins first entered the Southern
League and set about a huge change that saw the team go from relegation candidates to a side that finished
just outside the play offs. Frome went one better the following year and won promotion through the play offs
after beating Mangotsfield United in the semi-finals and Sholing in the Final. Season 2011/12 saw the Robins
competing in the Southern Premier Division and finished a very respectable 12th. Before managing Frome
Darren had been in charge of his home town club of Melksham before moving onto Paulton Rovers and then
Chippenham Town. He also had a spell at Forest Green Rovers when their academy was set-up as well as
taking caretaker charge of the first team when they visited Burton Albion. There was also a brief spell at
Mangotsfield United as Assistant Manager.
Derek Graham
Assistant Manager
Del Boy is one of the most well known faces in non-league football in the area and was a former goalkeeper
before taking on management roles at Warminster Town, Westbury United, Amesbury and Laverstock & Ford.
Before the move to Frome he spent time as an assistant manager at Odd Down (Bath) and Melksham Town but
joined up with former manager Andy Crabtree to help steer the Robins into the Southern League from the
Western League. Well respected and very popular around the ground.
Mike Kilgour
First Team Coach
Killer carved out a distinguished non-league career that included several Clubs including Newport, Forest Green, Gloucester,
Salisbury and Weston-super-Mare. When he finished playing he went into coaching and was Darren Perrin’s assistant at Paulton
Rovers the year they finished as runners-up in the Western League and gained promotion into the Southern League. He also spent
time at Weston and Mangotsfield before his move to Frome when Darren was appointed as manager.
Lloyd Chamberlain
Goalkeeping Coach
Lloyd is a former Frome goalkeeper, youth team manager and reserve team manager who was brought into the
First team set-up when the club disbanded its reserves back at the end of the 2009/10 season. He played for
several clubs during his career including Warminster and Melksham but always seemed to end up back at
Badgers Hill.
Martyn Penny
Physiotherapist
Martyn joined the Robins midway through the 2011/12 season having previously held the same position with his home town Club of
Trowbridge Town in the Hellenic League. Knows his stuff and is keen to continue his development in the world of sports therapy
Shaun Baker
Match day Kit Manager
Basher is synonymous with Frome Town and is the longest serving person at the Club. He was originally the
clubs physiotherapist before moving into his current role as the Match day Kit Manager in season 2009/10
which was the Robins first season in the Southern Football League. Lives and breathes Frome Town and if you
cut him open that’s what would be written through him like a stick of rock!
