About
Frome Town Robins is the youth section of Frome Town FC, the 2012 South West Charter Standerd Community Club of
the year. We run teams for school children from reception year to Under 18s. We offer football for boys and girls of all
ages & abilities, giving them the chance to maximise their potential, in a fun, safe & enjoyable environment.
Our Coaches
All coaches are FA Qualified, with a full CRB disclosure and up to date first aid.
A number of our coaches have attended the groundbreaking new FA Youth
coaching courses specifically designed for coaches who specialise in working
with young players.
Training & Matches
Training takes place on a Thursday evening at Oakfield School during the lighter
evenings moving to Frome Leisure Centre during the winter.
Our teams play in the Mid-Wilts League at Oakfield School on Saturday/Sunday
mornings. We also often set up special coaching sessions, including holiday
Soccer Schools, Tesco Skills Days and Goalkeeping Sessions.
Community Club
In 2011 the club was recognised by the FA with the award of its prestigious
Charter Standard Club Status.
We are the only club in Frome to have achieved this and are proud of our work
with local schools and organisations.
We run sports days for schools, free holiday coaching sessions, work with school
teams, help with fund raising activities and much more.
Be Apart of It
We always welcome new players so come along and join us. Football in Frome
has never been stronger - you can be part of the success. For more information
