Trowbridge U7s vs Frome Town U7s
Saturday 11th October 2014
Under 7's away at Trowbridge put in a very good performance against a composed and powerful Trowbridge
side.
James earning man of the match being the rock at the back as well as making bursting runs down the wing, almost
scoring a long range shot which deflected off the post. A close game that Frome could have won with Sean adding
another 4 to his tally for the season. Ashton another stand out player although he didn't score, always looking for
others to pass to and getting stuck in with tackling.
Dilton Marsh U7s vs Frome Town U7s
Saturday 27th September 2014
Under 7's were away at Dilton for their first official game of the season.
With a good performance overall, neat passing play and a good debut for Caleb scoring a nice individual goal to add to
Sean's neat finishes from some good play between him and Kai upfront. With Diltons counter attacking football they
eventually got to much for Frome’s defence and once they got going there was no stopping them.
Frome Town U7s vs Westbury U7s
Saturday 20th September 2014
Frome put in a very spirited performance against a very clinical Westbury side who proved to be the better
side.
Frome showed good passing play once they found there feet in the game and scored three very well taken goals
however Westbury were too much to handle and ran out winners. The game provided a good learning experience for
everyone involved.
Frome Town U7s vs Dilton Rovers U7s
Saturday 13th September 2014
Frome Town U7s played their first ever game at Oakfield against Dilton Rovers on Saturday morning.
The boys played really well with everyone putting in a lot of effort and some great passing. The watching parents were
thrilled by end to end affair which saw both teams scoring great goals and a special mention for Shaun who bagged a
double hat-trick. There was great effort from all the players throughout the game. The team and spectators can’t wait
till the next match
