Good work from Lewis and Mason led to a tidy finish from Joe. The 2nd half was a different story as Frome struggled to cope with many long balls from the Bishop Canning goalie which caught them out on several occasions.  The busy Oscar, Matthew & Max provided Mason to tuck away frome's only 2nd half goal. Man of the match Matthew Frome Town U9s vs Bradford Town U9s Saturday 13th September 2014 The Under 9's kicked off the new season at home to the impressive Bradford on Avon Apaches on Saturday morning.   The step up to 7v7 on a bigger pitch will take a bit of getting used to but you couldn't fault the effort, commitment & ability of the Frome team.   Frome's defence of Tom, Matt & Lewis made some important blocks in the early stages with Lewis also showing his good passing ability - always looking to get the ball wide to debutant Joe and the willing runner Sam.  There was lots of attacking intent from Frome with Ashton and Mason combining well, showing good vision and quick feet throughout the game.   Frome's goal keeper Max had an outstanding game showing bravery ability & was well deserving of the man of the match
